Our April speaker Dr Vasiliki (Vicky) Mollaki is a scientific officer at the National Commission for Bioethics and Technoethics in Athens with degrees in genetics from Cardiff and Sheffield universities.

She is on the editorial board of the journal Bioethica and since 2016 has been an external ethics expert in the European Commission.

Her talk will be based on her January 2024 OA article, as she explains below:

What if you suspect that ChatGPT reviewed your manuscript submitted for publication? How should authors and editors act in such a case? Are there any policies in place to ensure the integrity of the peer review process? Are policies enough to address these issues? These issues were highlighted in my recent article in Research Ethics.

I will try to answer these questions and propose concrete steps to protect the integrity of the peer review process.

Registration for this Zoom meeting will close on Thursday 25 April at 17:00, and the link to the Zoom meeting will be emailed to all those who registered.
