The final UniSIG meeting of 2024 is an opportunity to see the excellent presentation given at the METM24 conference by SENSE member Dr Kate McIntyre, the in-house scientific editor at the Department of Genetics, University Medical Center Groningen.

In her talk, Kate will present her definition of ‘voice’, present examples of clear voice in scientific writing, and demonstrate how a well-defined author voice can improve a text’s credibility. She will discuss how to foster the development of voice in young scientists, arguing that a strong individual voice will become more critical for establishing author integrity in a landscape where writers use generative AI tools.

Registration for this Zoom meeting will close on Thursday 12 December at 18:00, and the link to the Zoom meeting will be emailed to all those who registered.
