It’s been a while since we last had a separate meeting of SENSE Ed. For the past 13 months, all of us teachers have been pretty much glued to our Zoom screens, but as the pandemic starts to subside, even slightly, higher education is talking about the possibility of real-time instruction.
On Friday 28 May from 16:00-17:00, the subject of our meeting will be the return to classroom teaching. At this meeting, I’d like to share some thoughts with you about what it will be like to come back to the classroom after this unexpectedly extended pause. Will it be a relief or a burden? What sort of things did you like about online teaching that won’t be available in the classroom? Or are there activities that simply didn’t work well online that you’re anxious to do the old way? In any case, this transition is bound to be as unusual the one we all went through last year.
I’ll be starting things off with a short presentation of my own, but if anyone has thoughts that they know they would like to share, please let me know and I’ll be sure to save time for you.

Registration will close at 9:00 on 27 May and participants will receive the Zoom link by the morning of 28 May. If you don’t receive it and it’s not in your spam filter, contact me and I’ll send it to you. I look forward to seeing you then!
