Annual Utrecht SIG social & book swap

On Wednesday 18 September 2024 at 18:00 the Utrecht SIG will meet outdoors at the Fort bij Rijnauwen for a walk, talk and car boot book swap. This is becoming an annual tradition! Some of us missed the recent AGM book swap and still have way too many books we're not likely to read again. Now is the time to sift through your shelves. Please remember to take back any books you bring that haven’t found a new reader.

Some of you may remember the Theehuis Rhijnauwen, which serves delicious pancakes and can also do gluten- and/or dairy-free pancakes, with lots of fillings, and they also have sandwiches/salads, lots of veg/vegan options, so there’s something for everyone. Note: pay your own way.

Depending on the weather we can take our chances with eating outside. They don’t take reservations for the terrace. If necessary, reservations for eating indoors can be made nearer the time.

Programme:
18:00 – 18:30: hang around the car park for swapping books
18:30 – 20:30: take a walk or head straight for the pancakes
20:30 – 21:00: more walking, talking, and informal book swapping
