No mediation
All negotiations are between the client and the SENSE member. The Society is not responsible for the outcome of such negotiations and will not mediate in the event of disagreement, nor can the Society be held accountable for the quality of the work produced by its members.
No guarantee of accuracy
Although SENSE members are encouraged to keep their profile information up to date, SENSE is not responsible for out-of-date or inaccurate information on members’ profile pages or the Freelance Register. You should always confirm all of the necessary information with the freelancer when you contact them, and not just assume that the information in the Freelance Register is current.
If you hire a sworn translator, you should double-check whether the freelancer’s Wbtv number exists in the official registry and that their sworn status is up to date (if they’re in the registry, then it’s up to date; if they’re not in the registry, then their sworn status has lapsed).
