About the speaker:John Yonce

  • John Yonce has a legal background in Dutch law and international law (masters degree from Leiden University)
  • He worked for 4 years in IT service management at the company Pink Elephant and has also worked for Heineken as “Problem Manager”. He has several IT diplomas.
  • From 2007 until 2015 he worked for Chevron in the Netherlands. There he was a company lawyer and informal data protection officer.
  • In 2014, he became a Certified Information Privacy Professional with the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
  • John currently works at ALD Automotive (a lease company) on a privacy project for the General Data Protection Regulation implementation.
  • John lives in Oegstgeest with his family.
