Getting started with social media

Most of you know about Facebook and LinkedIn. But what about Twitter? blogging? the creation of leads and prospects using social media? monitoring your creation of leads and prospects?

Specifically for those not in the know, SENSE has organized a three-hour introductory workshop on the use of social media to promote your language business.

During this introductory workshop, the basics of social media and the grounds for a good workable social media strategy will be presented. The functions of the different media and how they interact with each other will be explained. Participants will then actively work in small groups to develop their own social media strategy.

Prior to the workshop, Henk-Jan will give you feedback on your LinkedIn profile, if you already have one.

At the end of the workshop, you will:

  • know what the different social media are,
  • know what they can do for you and
  • have a basic strategy for how to actively start working with your own social media.
