Translating the Civil Code of the Netherlands into English. Experiences and directions from the translators. 

Mr H.C.S. Warendorf and Prof. Ian Curry-Sumner will speak about their monumental work, translating the Dutch Civil Code. This should prove to be an invaluable opportunity to listen to the various choices they made when translating each of the books of the Civil Code, and why. There will be drinks after their presentation when everyone can also comfortably meet and chat.
