As a member of SENSE, you know bad professional writing when you see it. Documents that don’t make sense. Reports that bore you to tears. Brochures that make you want to run and hide. But I bet you also know good professional writing when you see it. A PowerPoint presentation that is clear and persuasive. A brochure that sparkles. An email that you don’t have to read three times.

When people mention your name, what kind of writing would you like them to be talking about?

The Powerful Professional Writing workshop teaches you how to maximize the quality of your professional writing immediately, from emails to 300 page reports and everything in between. It is designed for anybody who uses professional writing skills in their daily work — copywriters, editors and even translators who wonder at the structure and word choice that their clients are using.

The workshop is run by a professional copywriter and trainer, and is delivered through a combination of teaching, exercises and personal coaching. It uses a highly structured approach that also happens to be a fun and active experience. Best of all, participants are encouraged to bring their own documents — they can improve their own work right away.

This full-day workshop will be held on Thursday 7 October 2010 from 10:00 to 17:00 at the Park Plaza Hotel, Utrecht (just a short walk from the Central Station). Cost €160.00 for members, €190.00 for non-members. Buffet lunch is included in the price. Maximum 12 participants.

The Powerful Professional Writing Workshop. If you currently struggle with writing, you’ll walk away with more confidence. If you like writing, you’ll maximize your abilities. And you’ll definitely have fun doing it.
