Instead of a text to work on, we will have a presentation by SENSE member Joy Burrough Boenisch on editing. This will in theory be a repeat of her talk given to the Amsterdam group in September. I'll quote from the announcement for that meeting:

What is editing? Translators edit, but do they edit the same way as editors edit? Is the editing of native English the same as the editing of non-native English? As well as talking about the various types of editing, Joy will help us through some editing terminology that may be unfamiliar or hard to define precisely, such as copy-editing, language editing, line editing and developmental editing. There will be time for a discussion about the sorts of editing each of us does and how it fits into the framework Joy outlines.

All SENSE members are welcome, no matter where they live. (I was recently asked by someone if they could come even though they didn't live in Utrecht - in fact very few of us do.)
